Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing our Physical Therapists to engage closely with patients in their own homes. Each day, you will visit various clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care tailored to their specific needs. Our therapists work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a predictable schedule that supports work-life balance. The collaborative nature of our work environment encourages ongoing communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for each patient, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient goals, ensuring that they address specific orthopedic concerns.
• Provide hands-on therapy utilizing a variety of techniques—ranging from manual therapy to therapeutic exercises—with a focus on achieving functional outcomes.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, wellness strategies, and effective home exercise programs that will facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with referring providers, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan that supports optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We place a strong emphasis on tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that our interventions not only relieve pain but also promote functional independence and improve overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Physical Therapist License is required.
• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; advanced degrees (DPT or MPT) are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to apply strong clinical reasoning skills and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine enthusiasm for enhancing patient care.
• Open to candidates with varied experience levels, including new graduates and seasoned therapists.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with home health care delivery models is highly valued.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
