Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This travel assignment involves providing direct nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department. The role includes caring for antepartum, intrapartum, surgical (RN circulates), and postpartum patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM; 36 hours per week; start date 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience; BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Arrhythmia Course certifications; 0 years of minimum experience (applicant must meet the 2+ years experience note for job eligibility)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner or GE Centricity electronic medical records; ability to change into hospital-provided scrubs at each shift; familiarity with hospital protocols and patient ratios of 1-2 laboring patients in an 11-bed unit, including triage, PACU, and operating rooms
• Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, surgical (RN circulates), and PACU recovery of neonates and patients. Scrubs are provided; the EMR system used is Cerner or GE Centricity. The facility emphasizes appropriate patient care within a team environment.
