Recruitment Coordinator

Essential Job Functions:

1. Post all positions internally and distribute to Program Managers; ensure positions are listed in HRIS system and posted in appropriate areas.
2. Track, update statuses, take detailed notes and file all applications within the HRIS, as necessary; log applications within the HRIS, when appropriate.
3. Review all applications, schedule and conduct all initial screening interviews.
4. Follow the recruitment process set in place by the talent acquisition coordinator and the assistant director of human resources.
5. After verified completion on training, release newly hired employees to work based on program standards.
6. Write all employment advertising, and place ads with internet, university or advertising based companies.
7. Ensure that all pertinent hiring forms are up to date and meet legal guidelines.
8. Schedule all training for newly hired employees; communicate that information to all appropriate parties.
9. Schedule new hire appointments with the talent acquisition admin and ensure that all necessary forms for employment are reviewed and completed.
10. Write letters to applicants, as necessary.
11. Conduct open houses.
12. Report metrics on new hires, interviews, and applications to the Assistant Director of Human Resources on a weekly basis.
13. Perform all other duties as delegated by the Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Job Requirements:

1. Assist in responding to queries from employees, Directors, and outside agencies.
2. An Associate's degree and two years Human Resources recruitment experience is required.
3. Must possess a valid CT driver's license and a good driving record.

3. Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
4. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
6. Must be able to organize and prioritize and perform various job responsibilities and functions simultaneously.
