Job Description

We are seeking Welder (Pipe) – Local to Richmond, VA to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tack, pipe, MIG welding on pipe joints, fittings, flanges, and valves per WPS requirements
• Align, fit, and secure pipe sections using clamps, wedges, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and weld symbols
• Verify pipe dimensions, bevels, and root openings prior to tacking
• Ensure proper orientation and elevation of pipe runs
• Assist full-weld pipe welders as needed
• Inspect tack welds for accuracy, penetration, and defects
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload
