Order Management Specialist

Service Order Management SpecialistInsight Global is seeking to hire a Service Order Management Specialist supporting an international electronics group based out of Columbia, MD. This position will work an 8-5 shift Monday through Friday supporting the team out of Columbia, MD. Responsibilities include being customer facing where this position will respond to customer inquiries by researching and utilizing company tools and resources, as well as responding to inquiring about the status of service orders. This role will also be processing quotes, orders, RMAs and customer purchase orders; troubleshoot orders, document processes and work instructions; meet the KPI objectives relevant to the department standards; be able to work in a fast-paced environment; and provide/maintain positive customer relations. We are looking for someone with outstanding oral and written communication skills, has basic computer/Microsoft Office skills, someone that can provide excellent support to the customers, and work very collaboratively internally.Location: Columbia, MD (hybrid 3 days onsite)Duration: 6-month contract (potential for extension or conversion)Starting Pay: $20-26/hrShift: ~8:00am-5:00pmMust-haves:1+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or administrativeService order experienceHighschool DiplomaComing from a production environmentAdministrative backgroundVery inquisitive personality, work well on a team & independent, adaptable, customer oriented & good verbal & written comm, strong sense of customer serviceMicrosoft Office, ERPs or CRMs (SAP or Salesforce ideally) experiencePlusses:Bachelors DegreeElectronics backgroundSAP
