About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial operations of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including accounting, budgeting, audit coordination, compliance, internal controls, and cash management. This hands-on executive position is essential for supporting mission-critical programs and ensuring financial stability in a regulated funding environment. The successful candidate will lead financial and fiscal management, report to the CEO and Board of Directors, and oversee all financial aspects of the organization and its related entities. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Master’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field, and hold an active CPA or CMA credential. The role requires senior-level finance and accounting leadership experience, a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a background in nonprofit or regulated financial reporting. The CFO will also be involved in maintaining strong internal controls, leading the annual budgeting process, and providing financial analysis to support program and executive leadership. Preferred qualifications include prior nonprofit financial leadership experience, knowledge of OMB Circular A-133, and experience with various regulated funding environments. The role demands a candidate with the ability to work on-site, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to the mission of the organization.
