About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room License: Valid nursing license Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience, Epic experience Description: The position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room. Candidates must possess experience working in a level 1 or 2 trauma center. Epic charting system experience is required. The nurse will be responsible for circulating various surgical cases, including general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts with occasional floats to different start times. Weekend and on-call shifts may be necessary based on unit needs. Candidates should be prepared to float within similar units as required. Travel experience is preferred. The position is not open to first-time travelers. Pre-approved time off will be limited and certain blackout periods are in effect. Completion of all facility-specific training modules is required early in the assignment.
