Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years of operating room experience License: Active registered nurse license Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience Epic charting system experience No first-time travelers accepted Description: The role involves working in a busy operating room environment. You will be required to float to other operating rooms as needed. Occasional floating to night shifts may occur, but will not exceed three shifts per contract. Weekend work is required based on unit needs. You will need to have experience circulating emergent craniotomies and other procedures. A variety of cases, including general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, plastics, and trauma, will be encountered. Candidates are expected to possess the necessary technical skills for various surgical procedures. Please note that approved time off is limited to a maximum of 10 days per 13-week contract. Specific dates have been identified during which time off will not be allowed. Candidates may need to complete modules specific to the facility within the first week of the assignment.
