Job Title: RN – Clinical Nurse Educator (Perioperative Services / OR)
Location: New York, NY
Type: On-site | Contract
Local Rate: $2,962.5/week
Travel Rate: $3,661/week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Specialty Focus: Perioperative Continuum (OR, Pre-Op, PACU)

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and evaluate perioperative education programs, fellowships, and competencies
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and surgical skills training for OR nurses and surgical staff
• Serve as subject matter expert in aseptic technique, surgical protocols, and AORN guidelines
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, DOH, and CMS standards through education tracking
• Collaborate with perioperative leadership to identify gaps and improve patient safety and efficiency
• Support quality improvement initiatives in surgical workflows and turnover processes

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Nursing Education (MSN-Ed) required
• Minimum 2 years perioperative/OR nursing experience required
• Proven experience in clinical education or surgical unit training required
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
• BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR certification preferred
