Job Title: RN – Clinical Nurse Educator (Maternal-Child Health)
Location: New York, NY
Type: On-site | 13-Week Contract
Local Rate: $2,962.5/week
Travel Rate: $3,661/week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Specialty Scope: Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby / Postpartum, and Pediatrics

Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-the-floor clinical education, competency validation, and staff development across MCH units (L&D, NICU, Postpartum, Pediatrics)
• Serve as primary educational resource for Labor & Delivery, including obstetric protocols, emergency drills, and evidence-based practice updates
• Assess clinical knowledge gaps and ensure compliance with NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards
• Collaborate with nurse managers and leadership to support seamless educational workflows during contract period
• Support interdisciplinary teams to maintain clinical readiness and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of strong Labor & Delivery clinical experience required
• Experience as Clinical Nurse Educator, Unit Preceptor, or Clinical Instructor in acute care maternal-child setting required
• BSN required; MSN-Ed preferred
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
• BLS Certification required
• Strong communication and adaptability skills in fast-paced clinical environments
