Part-Time Test Center Administrator

Job Overview Part‑Time Test Center Administrator (Job ID: 299698) – UNG‑Dahlonega, GA. Regular, part‑time position. The successful candidate will assist in the day‑to‑day operation of the Prometric Test Center, reporting directly to the Prometric Coordinator of Testing. Responsibilities Assist with daily operation of the Prometric Test Center, adhering to standards required by Prometric; respond to all testing related inquiries; work evenings and Saturdays. Maintain knowledge of University and Prometric testing programs; keep certification with testing clients; stay current on non‑compete, confidentiality, ADA, and FERPA requirements; answer questions from callers and visitors; ensure security of test materials; verify identity of candidates; maintain inventory of test materials and exhibits. Collaborate with UNG IT and Prometric tech support to keep technology current; communicate with Prometric District Manager, Territory Operations Manager, and Prometric Coordinator as needed; maintain effective relationships with candidates, associates, and colleagues. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Preferred knowledge of standard proctoring duties, office practices, procedures, systems and equipment; ability to obtain and retain ADA and FERPA guidelines. Working knowledge of most computer office software, including BANNER, Windows, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; outstanding organizational and time‑management skills; excellent problem‑solving skills; superb phone etiquette. Ability to stay focused and detail‑oriented under surveillance; work performance is monitored & evaluated by external clients/vendors; failure to maintain contractual requirements could result in financial loss or termination of client contracts. Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with customers from varied industries (academic, corporate, government, financial, healthcare, and IT). Organize and prioritize work requests; complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Work independently and creatively under pressure; collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds; strong commitment to the mission of the University. Remain customer‑friendly and maintain attention to detail amid frequent interruptions; work successfully as part of a team in a high‑demand, fast‑paced environment. Learn and apply new technology as needed; maintain confidentiality of candidate test records and personal information. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain Prometric Test Center Administrator Certification; FBI and IRS clearance for IRS exams; obtain additional TCA certifications in College Level Examination Program, DANTES, ETS Standard Testing Network Center, and others within first 12 weeks. One year of required experience in an office, retail, or customer service environment. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays. Proposed Salary $18.34–$20.17 per hour.
