Contract Position: LVN - 5N MedSurg

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Call Requirements: None

Weekends: Every Other Weekend

Certification Required: BLS

Staffing Levels:

Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 3 CNAs, and Sitters as Needed
Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 2 CNAs, and Sitters as Needed

Required Skill Set

Must Have:

BCLS Certification
Critical Thinking Skills

Preferred or Nice to Have:

ACLS Certification
IV Skills
Experience in Orthopedic and Kidney Transplant Care
Central Line and Foley Management
Experience in Cardiac, Renal Transplant, Dialysis, Pulmonary, GI, and Diabetes Care

Procedures Performed on the Unit

Breathing Treatments (by Respiratory Therapist)
Chronic Wound Care
