Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Day shift, 12-hour shifts with start times around 6:00 AM. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• At least two years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery or related field
• Experience in Level 2 NICU is required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze relevant patient health data to determine care issues
• Develop and implement care plans and evaluate patient progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide safe and effective patient care
• Provide health information and learning opportunities for patients and families
