The Client Service Specialist is responsible for maintaining direct communication with employers regarding all aspects of their retirement plans. This role provides guidance and support on distributions, contributions, compliance requirements, and plan design. The Plan Manager works closely with employers to ensure accurate plan administration, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, thrives in a structured and detail-oriented environment, and is looking for long-term career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer, return, and make intermediate-level calls to employers, advisors, and plan participantsResolve basic to intermediate issues that prevent payrolls from being processedMonitor and communicate contribution rate discrepancies to employersReceive, review, approve, and forward plan-related forms (distributions, rollovers, beneficiary changes, SRA's)Assist employers with payroll uploads through an online portalRead and interpret simple sections of retirement plan documentsCommunicate contribution changes clearly and professionallyAssist with system upgrade testing prior to production implementationPrepare year-end valuation lettersReview simple to intermediate non-audited and simple audited year-end financial reports and Form 5500sCalculate plan eligibility with intermediate requirementsReview contribution calculations and projections and explain them to employersAssist with year-end audits, including researching and responding to auditor questionsAdhere to safety rules and company policiesPerform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goalsRequired Experience & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Adobe productsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor with excellent customer service skillsHigh attention to detail and strong sense of urgencyStrong organizational skills, including time management and follow-upAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to handle interruptions while maintaining accuracy and qualityAssociate's or Bachelor's degree requiredBenefits:MedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off (PTO)Supplemental BenefitsBenefits are effective the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
