Accounting Associate

Overview Accounting Associate to join our team. Responsible for document gathering, data analysis, and assistance in preparing deliverables under managerial supervision. Responsibilities Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment Execute day-to-day accounting and audit activities of the engagement and conduct fieldwork daily Gather audit-related data Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of Federal Government's financial and management responsibilities Assist in drafting and preparing project deliverables Utilize technology to share knowledge with team members, develop skills, and continually learn Be a self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented Demonstrate understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications Required Qualifications BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or Business Administration with a major in Accounting Minimum of 1 year of Accounting and Auditing Experience 150 credit hours that are required to be CPA eligible preferred Awareness and knowledge of Federal Government's financial and management responsibilities preferred Willing to travel up to 50% Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship) Preferred Qualifications CPA highly desirable Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $78,000. This range represents base pay only and does not include overtime, company contributions to benefits, or bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, clearance level, and other factors. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
