La Quinta Inn & Suites in Boise, ID is looking to hire a part-time Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. Are you a high-energy individual? Would you like a flexible part-time job that you can work around YOUR life and the needs of your family? If so, please read on!
This housekeeping position earns a competitive wage of $15.00 - $16.50/hour. We provide fantastic benefits, including two weeks of paid vacation and a 401(k). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER
As a Hotel Housekeeper, you are of key importance in delivering first-class hospitality to our guests. You come to work, eager to put your cleaning skills to good use. Your job is to return each hotel room to a sparkling state after the guests have left. You put in your headphones, turn on your music or podcast, and get to work. Always on the move, you enjoy getting a workout while on the job - it's like having a gym membership except you're getting paid!
Efficiently, you go through each room, changing the linens, making the beds, cleaning the bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming the floor, and cleaning under the bed. You then restock any supplies that have run low. You love being part of a great team. Having a flexible schedule that enables you to be available for your family is the icing on the cake, and a big reason you love your housekeeping job!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Physical ability to do the job, including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work weekends
Experience in a cleaning position would be a huge plus. Can you communicate effectively with guests and co-workers? Are you self-motivated and able to operate with little supervision? Do you pay close attention to details? If yes, you might just be perfect for this housekeeping position!
WORK SCHEDULE
We offer flexible part-time options during the day, depending on what fits your needs. This includes weekends.
