Registered Nurse - LTAC

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for LTAC facilities requiring 2 years of ICU experience, Night shifts, and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Candidates should have LTAC experience preferred and be capable of floating to various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced critical care to adult patients in LTAC settings.
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs and clinical observations.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records using EPIC EMR.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital and organizational policies, including orientation and annual training requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in a hospital or LTAC setting.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR and have recent experience with adult critical care.
• Capable of floating to other units and working night shifts.
• Be at least 100 miles away from all Prisma facilities to qualify for travel assignments.
