You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains. Your work will directly influence the firm’s technology strategy and operational excellence.Job responsibilitiesIntegrate Informationtechnology asset management (ITAM) standards into enterprise architecture, procurement, and engineering workflows.Establish discovery mechanisms, data quality controls, and voting/approval processes across lines of business.Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of the asset estate using technology asset management platforms (such as ServiceNow Software Asset Management, Flexera, Snow Software) and automated discovery tools.Define asset data standards, ownership hierarchies, and key performance indicators.Translate inventory data into executive-facing dashboards and audit-ready reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed asset governance into business processes.Support regulatory and audit requirements related to asset management.Drive continuous improvement in asset taxonomy and governance practices.Communicate complex asset management concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Define and govern technology asset classifications (hardware, software, Software-as-a-Service, application programming interfaces, citizen-developed applications) across the full lifecycle, including ownership models, sourcing distinctions, and regulatory alignment (such as Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council requirements).Ability to drive innovation and achieve target state architecture goalsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experienceAt least 5 years as a Technology Infrastructure architectAt least 10 years working in a highly regulated financial industryExperience developing or leading cross-functional teams of architectsExperience hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExperience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product ManagerPractical cloud native experienceStrong governance and accountability skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDeep understanding of architecture applications and processesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience working at code levelExperience with portfolio operations and cost managementFamiliarity with modern cloud-based technologiesAbility to influence and drive change across teamsAbility to drive continuous improvement in asset taxonomy practicesExperience in product management within technology organizations JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
