Job Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician certification or state license (e.g., CPhT or state-registered pharmacy technician)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (hospital pharmacy experience preferred)
• Ability to work evening shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in medication dispensing, and commitment to patient safety
• Familiarity with medication dispensing systems, inventory management, and medication reconciliation processes is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient and outpatient needs, including unit-dose and IV distribution
• Maintain accurate medication records, perform inventory management, and restock automated dispensing cabinets
• Support medication reconciliation, delivery processes, and timely distribution to nursing units
• Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, state regulations, and safety standards
• Provide professional customer service to patients, nurses, and healthcare staff in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance, medication safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
