Showroom Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Showroom Customer Service Representative to create a welcoming and positive experience for customers visiting our showroom. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, managing appointments, and supporting showroom operations through strong communication and organization. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet and assist customers entering the showroom
• Create a positive customer experience by ensuring guests feel welcomed, acknowledged, and informed
• Communicate wait times and consultant availability professionally and effectively
• Manage customer sign-ins and maintain the central appointment calendar
• Answer incoming showroom calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Explain and enforce appointment scheduling policies
• Prepare literature packages and customer information materials
• Maintain customer job folders and showroom records
• Support bid follow-up activities and customer tracking processes
• Prepare and send thank-you cards for customer selections and completed visits
• Maintain organization within the showroom and assist with general administrative support
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and effective communication with customers and internal staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of customer service experience
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Teams and other standard office applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple customers and competing priorities effectively
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, showroom, or administrative support experience
• Experience in sales support, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing environments
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling and customer record management
