Job Description
Registered Nurse - ER

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour rotations (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend requirements are every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week. Open to accommodating a Friday-Sunday weekend block schedule.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience required, or 2-3 years with Level I trauma center experience and one travel assignment.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.
• Must pass Relias EKG exam.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Familiarity with EPIC is required.
• Pending license is accepted, with a 75-mile radius rule for local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the emergency department.
• Manage patient flow and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes

No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract. Parking costs $15/day or $70/month.
