Recruitment and Retention Analyst

Job Summary Analyst II – Labor Commissioner's Office (LCO). The Analyst II reports to the Supervisory I and performs complex analytical work related to the recruitment, retention, hiring, and onboarding/off‑boarding of staff for LCO programs. This position supports statewide recruitment efforts and serves as a liaison between program managers and the department’s Human Resources office. Responsibilities Develop and implement recruitment strategies in partnership with program leaders. Coordinate and conduct in‑person and virtual recruitment presentations throughout California. Travel to recruitment events as required. Act as personnel liaison within the LCO and collaborate with the Human Resources office. Qualifications Eligibility to be on the state’s employment list, transfer or reinstatement eligibility, or LEAP eligibility. Experience in recruitment, outreach, and retention is preferred. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Working Conditions Location: 2031 Howe Avenue, Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95825. Full‑time permanent. One position available.
