Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in White Plains, New York, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Operating from its current location since 2001, the hospital provides compassionate care for dogs, cats and rabbits.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role offers a schedule of 36-40 hours per week. The hospital is seeking a passionate veterinarian committed to delivering high-quality medicine, providing preventive care and supporting pets and their families when illness occurs. You'll have access to resources and mentorship to support your personal and professional development, alongside clinical autonomy to provide the best possible patient care.
Practice Details
Services include wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, anesthesia, dermatology, diagnostics, laboratory services, radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, dietary counseling and end-of-life care. The hospital also offers rabbit care, medical boarding, international travel services and regenerative medicine and biological therapies. General practice hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 5pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 7pm, and Saturday from 8am to 2pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays.
Team
You'll join three veterinarians, supported by licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and client services staff. The wider support structure is led by veterinarians who understand the challenges facing the profession and value rewarding careers alongside life outside work.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
