Registered Nurse

This position is in a 48-bed emergency department that provides care for various acutes, conditions, and age ranges. Nursing ratios typically vary between 1:4 based on patient acuity. May be required to work some mid shifts, but will not cycle from nights into mid-shifts. Facility operates with board-certified attending physicians onsite 24/7. The department is a Level 2 certified facility for Pediatrics, STEMI, and Stroke care. No floating outside the scope to meet facility needs will be required. Candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted upon application. RNs must wear designated scrubs with the facility logo. This is a 100% nicotine-free facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in trauma level I and II settings. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. This role involves working with a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. The average patient ratio during nights is 1:4. The team includes interdisciplinary support from various services. Specialty equipment may be used, including lifting devices.
