As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in HOUSTON, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic cultural institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support guests with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public outdoor cultural location.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, guests, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout walking paths, gathering areas, facilities, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, public spaces, and/or restricted areas to help support posted rules, assist with directional guidance, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Complete routine reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and help support special events, high-traffic periods, and closing procedures as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
