As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping create a welcoming environment.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
- Support property operations by assisting with badge or visitor processes, providing directions, and communicating security-related information to tenants, contractors, and/or guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
