The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders, accurately positioning patients, preparing and operating MRI equipment, and ensuring quality images are obtained for interpretation. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates at the MRI Technologist I and MRI Technologist II levels will be considered. Placement and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements. Position Specifics: o Department: MRI o Core Function: Imaging o Schedule: Full time, 36rs/wkly, evening shifts - 4 - 9 hours shifts Monday to Friday 1030am - 8pm and every third weekend 730am - 5pm. o Facility: St. Mary's Hospital o Location: Decatur, IL o Sign on Bonus: $20,000 o Compensation: Competitive pay that aligns with your experience, qualifications, and includes the applicable weekend program incentive. MRI Tech I Pay Range: $32.58 - $40.73 - $48.87 MRI Tech II Pay Range: $34.21 - $42.76 - $51.31 For more information regarding this position, please contact Lauren Aman at View email address on click.appcast.io. **Education Qualifications*** Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.**Experience Qualifications*** 1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** One of the following is required:* Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).* Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).* Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.* If certified through ARRT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification/registry is preferred.* Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Job Description Scheduled Weekly Hours:36Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
