Night Shift Radiologist

Job Summary:

This role is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist responsible for assisting in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. The technologist will work 4 ten-hour shifts, including every third weekend, and participate in on-call duties. They will also float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.

Location:Decatur, Illinois, United States

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and prepping the site.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Participate in primary on-call duties.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• ARRT certification.
• IEMA license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Tech.

Special Considerations:

• Will work every third weekend.
• Primary call 2 nights a week and every third weekend.
• May be called off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without pay.
• Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
• RTO requests ideally no more than 5 days.

• 4 ten-hour shifts.
• 6:30 am - 5:00 pm.
