Local Contract Nurse RN - Float Maternal - Newborn - $55-60 per hour

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract RN Float Maternal‑Newborn for a 13‑week assignment at a prestigious hospital in Newark, NJ. The assignment is a local contract position with 36 hours per week, divided into 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Responsibilities Catagorize patients according to the appropriate level of care/classification. Identify emergency situations, consider patient age, and notify the provider as needed. Administer medications in accordance with the five rights of medication safety and infection control guidelines, as well as provider orders. Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess in accordance with established guidelines. Requirements Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of New Jersey. Minimum of 2 years of Mother‑Baby RN experience. BLS, ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. EPIC experience preferred.
