IT Support Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a Support Engineer II to join their team. As a Support Engineer II, you will be part of the IT Support department supporting a diverse range of corporate clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: New York, NY | Fully onsite

Pay Range: $37

What's the Job?

• Provide basic technical support to corporate employees worldwide, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.

• Research, diagnose, and resolve end-user computing problems efficiently and effectively.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions and troubleshooting steps.

• Assist with remote support activities, including teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment.

• Escalate system or network outages promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

• Experience in helpdesk or desk-side support environments.

• Strong verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
