This onsite, full-time role is designed for committed Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make an impact in school settings during the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates who are passionate about PreK populations and open to staying for more than a single year will find this position especially fulfilling.

You’ll play a key part in serving a range of student needs, from mild to severe, including some who utilize AAC devices and require tailored intervention strategies. There is a high likelihood of this being an itinerant opportunity, offering diverse experiences across different sites. Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong asset, though monolingual applicants are welcome. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply—mentorship and support can be provided to help launch your school-based SLP career.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
• Certificate of Clearance required
• Experience working in school settings and familiarity with SEIS documentation preferred
• Previous exposure to CA Medicaid (Paradigm) a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred; monolingual candidates also considered
• Comfortable supporting PreK students and capable of handling itinerant assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultation to students, primarily PreK but with opportunities for broader caseloads
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Travel between school sites as needed
