Make a direct impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant educational communities surrounding Indio, CA. This contract opportunity focuses on onsite service delivery within the coming school year and seeks dedicated clinicians committed to a full-year or longer assignment. The need is greatest for PreK specialists, with potential for itinerant placements serving a diverse caseload across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will be open to working with students presenting mostly mild-to-moderate communication needs, with some exposure to more severe challenges and use of AAC devices. Strong preference is given to bilingual Spanish speakers, but monolingual therapists are also encouraged to apply. Both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows are welcomed; those with prior school or SEIS experience, as well as familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm), will thrive in this setting.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (or eligibility for CFs)
• Certificate of Clearance (COC) in California (required)
• Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred
• Comfort with itinerant work and flexible assignments
• Positive attitude toward collaborative, cross-functional work
• Familiarity with special education systems such as SEIS and Medicaid billing platforms a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders for PreK–school-age students
• Develop IEP goals and implement evidence-based interventions
• Engage collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with documentation and school standards
• Utilize technology including AAC devices to support student communication
