Assembly Line Technician

We are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Assembly Technician to assemble electrical and mechanical components for industrial control systems and equipment. This role involves building control panels, cutting and terminating heavy-gauge wire, assembling subcomponents, and preparing finished products for testing and shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble control panels, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies according to specifications
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate heavy-gauge wire
• Mount and install sub-assemblies into larger units
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Assist with production line operations and material handling
• Load and unload materials, components, and equipment
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Qualifications:

• Mechatronics training or 2+ years of manufacturing/assembly experience required
• Ability to use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and basic power tools
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ability to operate basic production and material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Trussville, AL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
