We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Closer to join our client's lending team! This role is responsible for guiding loans through the final stages of the closing process, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, compliant, and ready for funding.

· Drive the loan closing process from approval through funding, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and ready for execution.

· Manage closing checklists and monitor outstanding requirements to keep loan files moving forward and meet funding deadlines.

· Partner with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, title companies, and escrow teams to gather documentation and quickly resolve closing or collateral issues.

· Examine commercial loan and collateral packages to confirm accuracy, proper execution, and compliance with established lending requirements.

· Prepare loan modifications, buydowns, and other legal documents while coordinating the recording process with title companies.

· Conduct final file reviews and audits after funding to ensure all required documents and conditions are satisfied before files are archived.

· Build strong borrower relationships by serving as a knowledgeable and responsive resource throughout the closing process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in loan processing, loan closing, commercial lending, or a related banking environment.
• Strong understanding of loan documentation, closing procedures, collateral, and funding requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
