Engineering Technology Cybersecurity ProgramThe Engineering Technology Cybersecurity Program focuses on students learning how to detect and defend against network infrastructure attacks by learning how to think like a hacker and how to use the tools hackers use to penetrate network defenses.Position Summary, Routine Tasks & Responsibilities:Maintain and operate equipment in the Cyber classroom, lab, and Noc labAssist with faculty in lab during lecture lab scheduled timesMaintain inventory of classroom and lab equipment necessary for student projectsProvide environment in which student success can be attainedAssist other students with equipment and projects during open lab timesMaintain appearance/cleanliness of labsAttend off campus recruiting eventsComfortable with public speaking and hands on demonstrations to industry and group toursPerform other duties as assignedRegistered full time in the Information Security (Cybersecurity) ProgramDemonstrate ability to follow directions and be a leaderObtained a minimum of sophomore levelMinimum QualificationsRegistered full-time SSU studentEligible to work in the United StatesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platformsFollow SSU dress code policyThis position is not eligible for benefits.
