VETERINARY Practice Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Pay range: $57,440 - $82,969 annually. The specific rate is determined based on experience, skill level, abilities, education, and may vary by location and schedule. Summary of Job Purpose and Function In partnership with the Chief of Staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day-to-day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. The role requires medical practice management skills to drive business results and people‑leadership skills to develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Responsibilities Interview, hire, and develop associates. Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity. Train associates on educating clients about Banfield guidelines, preventive care, pet health needs, and hospital services. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines/practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs. Required Education / Licenses Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Required Experience Three years of related experience (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.) including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).
