Job Description

\n

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams for projects and initiatives across any Rand division or business segment. The Project Manager's primary focus is to initiate, plan, execute, control and close approved projects within time constraints and within budget. Projects will be cross functional and require breadth and depth of experience in managing constraints, risk, issues, and schedule in a matrixed, cross functional environment. This person will be directly responsible for the facilitation of each project team to successfully commercialize all new products, solutions, or services to enhance the performance of the business. Project managers also must maintain a professional and collaborative presence during all project meetings, including client-facing engagements to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

\n

Interface with internal technical employees and external contractors used on projects.

\n

\n
• Familiar with the Autodesk suite of tools, including but not limited to Autodesk Construction Cloud, Forma, Pype, BuildingConnected, ProEst.
\n
• Significant experience driving programs/projects with customer facing deliverables using the Autodesk Suite.
\n
• Review and approve billable time and expenses for internal technical employees and external contractors.
\n
• Act as a mentor, trainer, and role model for junior project managers.
\n
• Identify areas for process improvement.
\n
• Perform project reviews, as required.
\n
• Recognize resource training opportunities as required by leadership.
\n
• Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
\n
• Define and manage project tasks, budgets, resource requirements, and full-scale project plans.
\n
• Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
\n
• Take ownership and manage project risk, issues, or other challenges that pose a threat to project scope delivery, timing, or budget.
\n
• Issue and integrate project change orders.
\n
• Act as the IMAGINiT’s point of contact with client-facing projects.
\n
• Act as a brand ambassador; promote a very positive, professional experience with the client, increasing IMAGINiT’s standing and overall visibility in the marketplace.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• PMP certification or working towards attainment, or relevant experience.
\n
• Diploma or degree in an industry related discipline such as architecture, construction, building, mechanical or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
\n
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant Construction Related Project Management experience.
\n
• Client-facing project management experience.
\n
• Successfully completed 8-10 Software Professional Services projects.
\n
• Experience working in a consulting environment, providing clients with implementation services, is desired.
\n
• 5-8 years’ experience providing various Professional Services to customers on projects (Development, Business Analysis, Data Management, etc) in a Team Lead or Senior Application/Developer role.
\n
• Must be able to relate with a diverse group of people with a wide variety of technical skills.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
\n
• Resourceful, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
\n
• Ability to be engaged in multiple projects at one time is essential.
\n

Additional Information

Travel

\n

\n
• This position requires up to 40% travel. Travel is frequently by air, is outside the local area and overnight. Access to a reliable automobile and a valid driver’s license are required as well as the ability to legally enter both Canada and the US.
\n

Compensation

\n

\n
• Base Salary $115,000 USD - 130,000 USD Based upon experience
\n
