Program/Project Manager - Vice President

You will help strengthen the consistency and credibility of monitoring and testing across the firm by performing independent quality reviews. You’ll partner with global stakeholders to identify themes, elevate emerging risks, and drive practical improvements to testing quality and control coverage.As a Vice President, Monitoring and Testing Quality Review within the Testing Center of Excellence, you will execute independent quality reviews of monitoring and testing activities to confirm alignment with applicable standards, methodology, documentation expectations, and timelines. You will evaluate whether testing outcomes are consistent, defensible, and appropriately risk-focused. You will collaborate with testing teams, managers, and control partners to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities to strengthen controls and improve testing effectiveness.Job responsibilitiesExecute independent quality reviews to confirm adherence to standards, methodology, timelines, and documentation expectations.Plan and perform targeted, risk-based quality and data reviews.Evaluate test plans and end-to-end testing documentation for completeness, consistency, and defensibility (e.g., risk/control mapping, objectives, sampling approach, test steps, evidence, results, and conclusions).Validate that evidence is sufficient, appropriate, traceable, and sourced from authoritative records; challenge incomplete or unreliable evidence and recommend remediation actions.Assess data reliability and integrity, the validity of conclusions, and the appropriateness of assumptions.Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness and identify control coverage gaps or execution deficiencies.Identify, confirm, and communicate key issues, trends, and recurring themes; perform root-cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations.Review issues/exceptions for clear condition, criteria, cause, impact, and scope; support validation of severity/ratings where applicable.Support issue validation testing and closure decisions by confirming remediation evidence and retesting results meet standards and documentation expectations.Communicate review outcomes through timely feedback, clear status updates, and escalation of high-risk concerns; contribute to calibration and coaching.Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across quality review processes.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree (business, information technology, or related field) or equivalent related experience.Experience in financial services risk, compliance, audit, operational risk, operations, or business control management.Demonstrated ability to perform quality reviews, assessments, or evaluations using a risk-based approach.Working knowledge of internal control concepts and operational risk drivers.Strong analytical skills, including ability to conduct root-cause analysis and identify themes and trends.Ability to evaluate end-to-end processes and controls and identify gaps/risks in the operating environment.High standards for documentation quality and attention to detail.Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills (written and verbal), including comfort escalating when appropriate.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.Ability to use data, reporting, or dashboard outputs to support review conclusions.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with control testing activities (e.g., substantive testing, control evaluations, regulatory testing, issue validation testing).Experience reviewing or challenging sampling approaches, test steps, evidence sufficiency, and conclusion support.Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing concepts (where applicable).Experience using analytics or automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Python) to support review outcomes.Relevant training or certifications aligned to the role (as required).
