What You'll Do:

• Provide direct care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients
• Circulate during C-sections and manage outpatient triage
• Administer magnesium sulfate therapy and handle postpartum hemorrhage care
• Assist with balloon inductions, Cytotec induction, Pitocin inductions
• Support patient education and family-centered care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including charge nurse and RT
• Document patient care using Meditech Expanse and GE Centricity Perinatal systems

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible
• Minimum of 1 year experience in labor & delivery or postpartum care
• Strong skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response
• Ability to work night shifts and support weekend/holiday rotations

This position is at a top NICU level 3 unit with a birth-ready designation, dedicated to caring for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients in a supportive, family-like environment. The unit is equipped with advanced EMR systems, IV pumps, and medication dispensing technology, ensuring efficient and safe patient care. Enjoy a quick orientation process followed by two shifts on-site to get you prepared and comfortable in your new role.
