Accounts Receivable Manager

CV Resources has partnered with a well‑established communications firm to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and optimize their AR function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment, enjoys leading a team, and wants to take ownership of collections and AR performance as the company continues to grow. What You’ll Be Doing Supervising, mentoring, and developing AR team members, assigning and prioritizing workloads across the team Overseeing invoicing accuracy and supervising cash application processes Reviewing and approving customer profile setups, invoice creation, and account updates Managing client onboarding, including portal registrations and vendor/supplier forms Developing and implementing collection strategies to reduce past‑due balances and improve DSO Monitoring aging reports, escalating high‑risk accounts, and approving write‑offs and credit memos Resolving billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash Preparing and presenting AR performance reports, including aging analysis and collection trends Supporting month‑end/year‑end close and audit requests Maintaining and enforcing AR policies, identifying process improvements and automation opportunities Must‑Haves Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred 8+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience, including billbacks/chargebacks 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead capacity Demonstrated experience managing collections, dispute resolution, and AR reporting Proficiency in ERP systems; QuickBooks and NetSuite strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Compensation: $90K – $110K Location & Schedule: West Hollywood (onsite 4 days per week) #J-18808-Ljbffr CV Resources
