Shrewsbury Surgery Center is hiring a full‑time RN PACU! Role Overview As a PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) you will provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating their condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. You may assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and the use of sterile techniques as appropriate. You will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing Active RN license in the state BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center Preferred two or more years experience in PACU or critical care Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Pay Range $46.00/hr – $51.00/hr (wages determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience) Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Paid time off (vacation & sick leave) – starting PTO accrual is 15 days per year 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays Health savings accounts, health care & dependent flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance program, employee discount program Voluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long‑term care, elder & childcare, AD&D, auto & home insurance Who We Are At USPI, we create relationships that improve care.
