Shift Managers - Opening, Day, and Closing Shifts

Shift managers oversee daily operations at an independent franchisee‑owned McDonald’s restaurant. The role includes leading a team, ensuring high service standards, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting a fast‑paced work environment. Responsibilities Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to guarantee quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan for each shift, monitor performance, enforce McDonald’s standards, and address safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare a smooth shift transition. Assist departmental teams in meeting their goals during shifts. Additional Responsibilities Food safety Internal communication Inventory management Daily maintenance and cleanliness Managing crew Quality food production Exceptional customer service Safety and security Scheduling Training Requirements Prior leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. Previous management experience with McDonald’s or a similar fast‑paced environment is preferred. Positive team player, flexible schedule, and at least 18 years of age to serve as a manager.
