We are seeking two skilled interpreters to fill full-time contract positions, providing crucial access and communication for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated fluency
• Experience interpreting in school settings or with children/adolescents
• Current nationally recognized interpreter certification (such as RID or equivalent) preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, service providers, and families
• Professional, adaptable, and comfortable managing varied classroom dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and activities, ensuring equitable access for Deaf and hard of hearing students
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers in both academic and extracurricular settings
• Support student participation and engagement in school functions, assemblies, and outings
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times
• Adapt to individual student needs and grade levels, from elementary to high school
• Assist with preparation and modification of educational materials as needed
