Exciting opportunities await for skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistants to support students during the 2026-2027 school year. Serving schools throughout areas near Allentown and surrounding regions, these contract openings are designed for professionals passionate about Early Intervention and committed to fostering student growth. Multiple positions are available, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact across several local communities.
As an SLPA, you’ll play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions, collaborating with licensed Speech Language Pathologists, and helping young learners reach their communication milestones in educational settings. Your expertise in both school and healthcare environments will be highly valued as you guide students along their learning journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Pennsylvania state license and clearances required
- Experience working in school-based or healthcare settings preferred
- Effective communicator and team player
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in delivering targeted therapy and intervention plans
- Work closely with educators and families to support Early Intervention caseloads
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records as required
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere in both individual and group settings
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
