Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the design and analysis of a wide variety of building projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on commercial, residential, industrial, municipal, and institutional projects while collaborating with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver innovative, practical, and cost-effective structural solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood building systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and owners throughout the design and construction process.
• Review project plans and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures, respond to field questions, and support construction activities.
• Assist with construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Provide creative engineering solutions while maintaining quality, efficiency, and project schedules.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience designing building structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and structural design standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
