POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Plant Relief person will provide support in maintenance and sanitation as needed. This person will be fully trained and able to meet all of AB Mauri requirements of working safely, efficiently and with an attention to detail. This person will have a thorough knowledge of each position and its requirements in the maintenance and sanitation of the AB Mauri facility and equipment.

Maintenance

Complete repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement programs, Assist with safe, reliable and proper operation of equipment.

Qualifications

A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• OSHA certified Forklift driver.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience.

Basic computer skills. WORKING CONDITIONS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, hear, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders or balance.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and occasionally high precarious places.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to certain allergens.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
• The ability to perform in a noisy, humid, hot, and high-volume machine production environment.

OTHER FACTORS Normal hours are Monday-Friday 12pm to 10pm. Schedule can vary greatly depending on department and position. Some overtime is required.
