Alameda Electrical Distributors& California Service Too l is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager based in Hayward, CA. In this role, you'll partner with leadership, influence strategy, and help shape the employee experience across a growing organization. What You'll Do: Own the full execution of HR operations, including compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and HR systems Partner with the VP of Operations and HR to execute HR and talent strategy, including recruiting, retention, workforce planning, and succession planning Serve as the primary advisor to managers and leadership on HR-related matters Provide guidance to HR Generalists, managers, and staff on complex and sensitive issues, including reasonable accommodations, investigations, discipline, and terminations Manage full-cycle recruiting, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles, partnering with department managers to define required skills and competencies Analyze compensation and benefits trends; research and recommend competitive base pay and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent Own the design, rollout, and results of engagement, recognition, job-specific training, and onboarding and orientation programs Own the monthly HR Scorecard and present results during the Monthly Department Review Lead the HR team, including hiring, training, overseeing daily workflow, and, providing timely performance feedback Ensure full compliance with Federal, California, and local employment laws; maintain audit-ready policies and procedures Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of HR management experience, including supervising HR staff, preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification highly desired Thorough knowledge of Federal, California, and local employment law, with a track record of maintaining audit-ready policies Hands-on experience with employee relations, investigations, accommodations, and terminations, plus full-cycle recruiting for exempt and professional roles Experience with compensation analysis, HR metrics and reporting, and engagement, onboarding, and training programs Experience supporting a multi-site workforce, with the ability to travel to branch locations across California and Nevada as needed Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems, or the ability to learn quickly The Opportunity: $110,000 – $150,000 Annual Salary (based on experience) Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunities Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days on-site Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Free Vision Insurance (with buy-up options) 401(k) with Employer Match Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, and LTD coverage Paid Holidays + Paid Time Off Commuter Benefits Employee Wellness Program Fringe Lifestyle Benefit If you're ready to lead HR, influence strategy, and make a meaningful impact on people and culture —we’re ready to meet you.
