Maintenance Technician - FULL TIME

Gernaat Dairy is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician in Falmouth, MI (about 17 miles east of Cadillac, MI) responsible for inspecting, servicing and maintaining parlors, barns and sand separation systems. Keeping equipment operating at peak performance and efficiency. We are a family-owned, 3,000-head dairy. We pride ourselves on operating a progressive dairy farm offering high quality milk to our customers. We offer acompetitive hourly wage based on experience along with health insurance and paid time off. The schedule will be Monday - Friday with additional days as needed and a monthly rotational on call schedule. Strong understanding of various dairy systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems. General repair and maintenance. Daily walk through to ensure equipment is working properly. Monitor chemical usage and inventory. Maintenance and repairs on alley scrapers. Structural and equipment repairs. General welding repairs. Daily performance monitoring. Maintenance and repairs.
