Overview Private duty nursing (PDN) allows medically fragile patients to receive quality, skilled nursing care in the comfort of their home—a setting preferred by most patients and their families. We are looking for nurses in your area to join us in caring, serving, and enriching the lives of our adult and pediatric patients and their families. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to medically fragile adult and pediatric patients at home. Manage and monitor patients with gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomy tubes, and mechanical ventilators, ensuring proper nutrition, airway management, and respiratory support. Perform routine assessments, medication administration, wound care, and patient education. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and family members to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care. Scheduling & Openings Shift options include 8, 12, or 16 hour shifts, primarily on 1st and 3rd shifts (morning and overnight). Mid shifts are available. Flexibility in scheduling—work as much or as little as you like. Carbrough, 27510 – G-tube/Trac/Vent – M-F: Days/Nights, Anytime! Cedar Grove, 27231 – G-Tube, Trach – Every other Saturday and Sunday 8 AM–4 PM, occasional longer shifts, weekday and night backups needed. Durham, 27707 – Adult/G-tube/Trach/Vent – E/O Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.–2 p.m., weekends. Durham, 27703 – Peds, Seizures – Thur 6:30 a.m.–6 p.m. (school), Mon–Th 10:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m., school and nights. Goldston, 27252 – Peds, G‑Tube, Trach – Friday–Sunday, M-F 8 p.m.–8 a.m., Sunday/Saturday day or night. Newton Grove, 28366 – G‑Tube, Trach, Vent - adult – Sunday/Wednesday 11 p.m.–7 a.m. Raleigh, 27610 – Adult/Trach – M-Wed 12 p.m.–4 p.m., Thu-Sun 8 a.m.–4 p.m., day shifts. Smithfield, 27577 – Peds/G‑tube – Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Additional openings can be requested.
