Job Description:

Circuit of the Americas is the ultimate destination for racing and entertainment. Home to Formula 1, MotoGP, Germania Insurance Amphitheater, COTA Karting & soon to be home to COTALAND, Austin's premier amusement park.

COTA is seeking a Texas Law student for a 150-hour term-time internship. This is an unpaid internship for the Texas Law's Corporate Counsel Internship program. Interns may begin their internship as early as Monday, August 24, 2026, and must complete their hours by December 4, 2026.

During the internship, students will gain exposure to multiple practice areas relevant to the role of in-house counsel at a motorsports and entertainment venue. Interns will work closely with experienced attorneys throughout the term and have a designated supervisor. Eligible applicants must be enrolled as a 2L, 3L or LLM student during the relevant internship semester.

Physical Demand & Work Environments:

• Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
